Spurs started the month with a trip to Middlesbrough on the 9th. Spurs fielded a young side and matched the home side who are unbeaten and top of the group. Spurs second game of the month saw Aston Villa visit Hotspur Way on the 16th. In a game of few chances you could not see Villa winning. Unfortunately Maghoma scored for them to give them a 1-0 win. The unlucky defender played a backpass without looking to see where his keeper was. Spurs had the better of the play creating the best of the few chances made. Shashoua had the best with Duncan and Sterling drawing late saves. A first game for Griffiths and a second start for Kirby in a young attacking line-up without any fullbacks gave covering midfielder Marsh plenty of work to do.

With less than ten minutes to go Spurs were level when Bennetts free kick was turned in by Da Graca. The first game of the month was a home match at Stevenage when the visitors were Middlesbrough on the 6th. Having finally won a game we were looking to push on, but the visitors had beaten high flying Man City in their last game and were looking for first division survival themselves. Spurs never got going in a match that the visitors had prepared well for with a strong defence and quick counter attacking players. They took an early lead and did not look like giving that up. Harrison had a great effort towards the end of the first half but the keeper made an equally good save. Spurs pushed forward more in the second half but were caught out to concede a second goal. They continued to push leaving space at the back for an end to end game. Pritchard was poor at right back but after being switched to the left he had a part in Spurs goal which came from a good ball in for Miller to beat the keeper. Spurs continued to press but could not get that second goal losing 2-1.

The second game saw Spurs entertain Sunderland at White Hart Lane on the 11th. The second came when Miller won the ball and advanced to cross for Harrison to head home. Sunderland pulled a goal back when they intercepted a ball out from Glover. They pressed for a second but good saves by Glover and the crossbar kept Spurs in front and they wrapped it up in added time when Harrison completed his hat trick when played in by Pritchard.
Team(4-2-3-1) – Glover, Walker-Peters, Walkes, Lesniak, Georgiou(Maghoma 89), Stylianides, Winks, Sonupe(Marsh 81), Goddard(Pritchard 68), Miller, Harrison.

Spurs last game of the season was against Manchester United at White Hart Lane on the 19th. With nothing to play for and United needing a win to top the league Spurs put them under pressure from the off. They were caught out twice in the opening 15 minutes to go two down. United dropped deep using all the tricks of the trade to keep Spurs at bay. Spurs got a goal back before the break when Stylianides found Miller in a central position and his low drive found the left corner of the net. The second half was much like the first with Spurs pushing forward and United trying to catch them out at the back. They came close a couple of times when they hit a post and missed an open goal when McGee gave them the ball. Spurs two substitutes combined to bring them level. Walker-Peters sent Edwards down the right where he got to the line and Pritchard turned in his cross. Not for the first time Spurs were caught out at the death when in added time United won a corner from which they scored to win the game.
